If you create Xoba Bookmark Cards, you can share them with anyone.
If you share a Card with a colleague or anyone else, they must have access to the underlying information in order to access it. For example, if you share a Xoba Card with a Google Doc and the person clicking on the Google Doc doesn't have permissions from Google, they won't be able to view the doc. You must go to Google Drive and give them permissions.
The user will be able to see the name of the item in the Card (e.g. the name of the document), but they will not be able to access the information unless you grant them access in the applications itself.
The person(s) that you share the Card with do not have the ability to edit the items in the Card. The Card is 'read-only' for every person except the one who created and shared the Card.
The person(s) you're sharing the Xoba Card with do not need a Xoba Account to access the Card or the items within the Card. This makes it easier for you to share information with your colleagues even if they're not using the Xoba application.
To share a Card — Select the 'Share' icon in the upper right corner of the Xoba Card you wish to share.
Enable sharing by switching the toggle to 'on'. A link will appear that you can copy.
You can page the link in a message, email, chat, calendar invite, or wherever you communicate with your colleagues.
When the person(s) click the link, they'll be redirected to a page that displays the Card. They'll be able to click on the items in the Card (e.g. Google Docs, Jira tasks, webpages, reports, etc.).
If the person(s) would like to create a Xoba account, they can directly from the page.
The person(s) that you share the Card with do not have the ability to edit the items in the Card. The Card is 'read-only' for every person except the one who created and shared the Card.
If you make a change to a Xoba Card (add a new item, rename an item, remove an item, etc.) the changes will be reflected when the receiving person(s) refreshes the page or clicks on the link again.
