Xoba offers a browser extension for Google Chrome. This extension is designed to allow you to quickly and easily search Xoba without having to type in or navigate to the Xoba application every time. Simply install the browser extension on your preferred browser. From there, you can use the pre-built keyboard shortcut (alt+X) or select the extension in your browser. Type your search term, hit enter and you'll be redirected to Xoba to see your search results.
If you have the Xoba Chrome Extension installed, Xoba will automatically become your default new tab. So, every time you open a new tab, Xoba will appear and you can search or interact with your Cards.
You can turn this functionality off in the Chrome Extension itself. Open the Xoba Chrome Extension → Select the dropdown → Toggle the switch to 'off'. Now, your standard Chrome tab will appear when you open a new tab. You can turn this functionality back on by following the same directions.
When you have this setting on, every time you create a new tab in Google Chrome, Xoba will appear. You can search across all of your applications or interact with your Xoba Cards.
You can add any active Chrome tab to a Xoba Bookmark Card using the Chrome Extension. When you're on a tab you would like to save to a Card, open the Xoba Chrome Extension and select 'SAVE PAGE TO CARD'. You can rename the page and then add it to an existing Card or create a new Card on the fly. Once you've added the page, you'll see it in the Card the next time you open Xoba.
